I. Basic Project Overview
Full Project Name: Inner Mongolia Linxi 2.4 Million-Bird Large-Scale Layer Industrial Park (Deyuan Golden Rooster Industrial Poverty Alleviation Project). It is a landmark large-scale layer farming project equipped with a complete smart poultry farming system supplied by Guangzhou Guangxing Poultry Equipment Group (Guangxin IoT).
1. Construction Scale:
The project has a total layer capacity of 2.4 million birds. It includes two pullet-rearing zones, each with a capacity of 300,000 birds, and six standardized layer farming zones, each designed for 300,000 laying hens. The project covers approximately 540.08 mu, with a total building area of 59,000 square meters.
2. Investment and Production Capacity:
The total project investment is RMB 375 million. After completion, the project is designed to produce 550 million fresh eggs and 4,500 tonnes of liquid egg products annually, as well as 1.73 million spent laying hens per year. The estimated annual comprehensive output value is RMB 620 million.
3. Project Positioning:
The project is a benchmark industrial poverty alleviation initiative under the Beijing–Inner Mongolia regional cooperation programme. It adopts a “government-funded farm construction and enterprise lease operation” model, with a 15-year lease period. The project combines three major objectives: large-scale egg production, employment and income growth in rural communities, and environmentally sustainable circular farming.
4. Project Partners:
Beijing DQY Ecological operates the project. Guangzhou Guangxing IoT was responsible for the overall supply, design, integration and delivery of the fully automated poultry farming equipment and IoT-based intelligent management system.

II. Complete Smart Poultry Farming Solution Provided by Guangxing IoT
The project is fully equipped with Guangxing hot-dip galvanized, multi-tier automated layer farming systems and an integrated IoT management platform. Together, these systems support low-labor, energy-efficient and fully traceable poultry production.
1. Multi-Tier Automated Layer Housing System

- Multi-tier layer cages made from corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized materials, designed to withstand the cold climate of northern China;
- Integrated automatic egg collection lines transport eggs directly to the grading and packing workshop without manual handling. Each egg can be assigned a traceability code, enabling full-chain product tracking;
- Fully automatic manure belt systems remove manure daily, helping reduce ammonia accumulation inside the poultry houses and lower disease risks. The manure is transported centrally to the supporting biogas facility for resource recovery and reuse.
2. IoT-Based Intelligent Environmental Control System

To address Linxi’s cold winters and large temperature differences between day and night in summer, Guangxing developed a customized zoned environmental control solution.
- Tunnel negative-pressure ventilation, evaporative cooling systems for summer and insulated heating equipment for winter;
- Temperature, humidity, ammonia and carbon dioxide sensors installed throughout the poultry houses, with real-time data uploaded to a cloud-based monitoring dashboard;
- Automatic control of fans, heating, spraying, cooling and lighting equipment to maintain suitable temperature and humidity conditions for stable egg production throughout the year;
- Reduced heat and cold stress, helping stabilize laying performance;
- Remote monitoring through mobile phones and computers, abnormal-condition alarms and independent environmental control for pullet houses and layer houses.
3. Fully Automatic Feeding and Drinking System

- Feed silos and automatic chain feeding machines provide accurate feed quantities according to the age and production stage of the birds, reducing feed waste by more than 20%;
- UV-sterilized, temperature-controlled nipple drinking lines monitor leakage and blockage conditions to help maintain a clean and reliable water supply;
- The IoT feeding data analysis module monitors changes in feed intake to help identify weak or potentially unhealthy birds, enabling earlier intervention and reducing mortality and culling rates.
III. Advantages of Guangxing’s Project Delivery
As the complete equipment supplier for the project, Guangxing IoT provided a one-stop, full-process service covering poultry house layout planning, customized cage system design, automated equipment installation, IoT platform deployment, on-site technical training, remote operation and maintenance, and after-sales support.
The equipment was specially configured for the operating conditions of extremely cold northern regions. The complete system combines high production efficiency, energy conservation, environmental protection, automated management and digital product traceability.
The Inner Mongolia Linxi project has become a standardized demonstration project for large-scale smart layer farming in China, providing a practical reference for the construction and operation of million-bird automated poultry farms.
